For the first time, the 2017 Ridgeline is available in two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive system designs. All-wheel drive models use all-wheel drive technology newer and more advanced Honda - Intelligent Variable Torque Management ™ (i-VTM4). This fully more capable system offers weight reduction, improved all-weather traction and more dynamic handling capacity. Honda i-VTM4 gradually distributes engine torque between front and rear axle and dynamically distributes the torque between the left and right rear wheels, with the ability to saturate the outer rear wheel 2.7 percent to generate a yaw moment increasing cornering precision.
